The City Council passed Ordinance 2025-210 rezoning approximately 6.89± acres at 6600 Corporate Center Parkway from Industrial Business Park (IBP) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) to permit schools and industrial business park uses under the Premier Academy Jacksonville PUD. The rezoning application was filed by applicant Folks Huxford on behalf of owner JAX COSTA (FL), LLC, and is legally described in Exhibit 1 (dated February 11, 2025) with the site plan attached as Exhibit 4 (dated January 22, 2025). The new PUD allows for the development of an educational facility alongside complementary industrial business park uses, including offices, light industrial operations, and warehousing. It is consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan, furthers the goals and policies of the plan, and meets all standards of Section 656.340 of the Zoning Code. The ordinance was deemed effective upon signature by the Council President and Secretary and includes a disclaimer that this rezoning does not exempt compliance with any other local, state, or federal laws or permits.
