An ordinance rezoned approximately 1.80 acres located at 6426 Bowden Road from a Planned Unit Development (PUD) District (2007-1084-E) to a new PUD District. The rezoning permits a restaurant with on-site consumption of all alcohol and outside sales and service, as described in the Southpoint Plaza at Bowden Road PUD. The rezoning was found consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and not in conflict with the City's land use regulations. It was determined not to adversely affect the orderly development of the City, health and safety of residents, or the natural environment. The City Council approved the rezoning with a vote of 19-0. The Land Use and Zoning Committee also recommended approval 6-0. The application was made by Cyndy Trimmer, Esq.
