An ordinance was approved to rezone approximately 0.40 acres of land located at 1665 9th Street West and 1910 Grunthal Street in Council District 7, Jacksonville, Florida. The rezoning changes the zoning classification from Residential Low Density-60 (RLD-60) District to Residential Medium Density-B (RMD-B) District. This action is consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and a companion Small-Scale Amendment Application L-6008-24C. The application was filed by Rebecca Davis on behalf of the property owners, Rebuilding Ex-Offenders Successfully Through Opportunities Rehabilitation & Education, Inc. and A.J. Anderson Construction, LLC. The City Council voted 17-0 to approve the rezoning.
