The new PUD zoning permits a wide array of uses including office, institutional, commercial, multiple-family, entertainment, communication towers, and recreational uses as described in the E Town West PUD. The approval came with conditions, including the requirement for a traffic study during Civil Site Plan Review, establishment of parking reduction percentages by the Planning and Development Department once infrastructure is available, and limitations on project identity signs to a maximum height of 65 feet and 300 square feet in area. The Land Use and Zoning Committee recommended approval (7-0), and the City Council approved the rezoning by an 18-0 vote.
