An ordinance was adopted to approve a small-scale amendment to the Future Land Use Map series of the 2045 Comprehensive Plan. This amendment changes the future land use designation for approximately 5.16 acres located at 901, 937, and 940 Main Street N. from Community/General Commercial (CGC), High Density Residential (HDR), Recreation and Open Space (ROS), and Public Buildings and Facilities (PBF) to Regional Commercial (RC). A new Future Land Use Element (FLUE) Site Specific Policy 4.4.45 was also adopted for the site. The application number for this amendment is L-5945-24C. The City Council held a public hearing and approved the ordinance with a vote of 19-0. The Land Use and Zoning Committee also approved it 5-0.
