This ordinance adopts a large-scale amendment to the 2045 Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map series. The amendment changes the future land use designation for approximately 1,003.91 acres in Council District 8. The previous designations of Multi-Use (MU) subject to FLUE Site Specific Policy 4.3.15 and Light Industrial (LI) in Rural and Suburban Development Areas are being revised. The new designations include Light Industrial (LI), Community/General Commercial (CGC), Conservation (CSV), Low Density Residential (LDR), and Medium Density Residential (MDR). A portion of the property in the rural development area will be added to the suburban development area. This amendment also repeals FLUE Site Specific Policy 4.3.15 and includes a revision to the Development Areas Map. The application number is L-5886-23A.
