The City of Houston approved a second amendment to a Subrecipient Agreement with Covenant House Texas. This amendment provides an additional $200,000 in FY2025 Homeless Housing and Services Program – Youth (HHSP-Y) funds. The funds are for the continued operation of an emergency shelter and transitional living services, case management, and essential services for 80 unaccompanied homeless young adults aged 18 to 24. This additional funding will not extend the current agreement period, which is set to expire on March 31, 2026. Covenant House has been a recipient of City funding since 2009 and had no findings in their most recent compliance review.
