The Houston City Council declined the acceptance of, rejected, and refused the dedication of 60-foot-wide Bowers Street, from Clinton Drive east to its terminus, within Block 124 of the Brunsville Addition, situated in the John Brown Survey, Abstract No. 8 (Parcel SY24-092). This decision was based on a request from Luis D. Valencia of Benchmark Engineering Corporation, on behalf of Phillip W. Boyko of ARNBE, Property Mgmt, Ltd. The applicant intends to incorporate the street into their surrounding property, with no plans for future changes. The street has not been used for utility purposes, and the City identified no future need for it. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved the request.
