This district was created in 2006 and currently encompasses 1089.73 acres within Harris County, specifically within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction. The Utility District Review Committee evaluated the application, focusing on wastewater collection and treatment, potable water distribution, and stormwater conveyance. The annexation tract will receive wastewater treatment from Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 171 Wastewater Treatment Facility and potable water from Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 171 Water Plant No. 1. The tract is located within the 100-year floodplain. All plans for constructing water conveyance, wastewater collection, and stormwater collection systems within the District must be approved by the City before construction.
