Ordinance passed approving the Purchase and Sale Agreement between ExxonMobil Corporation and the City of Houston to acquire easements at 300 Choate Road for the 24-inch Water Line Along Highway 3 Project (Fuqua Street to Dixie Farm Road). The City will pay $241,008 to acquire a total of approximately 149,973 square feet (3.443 acres) of permanent access, water meter, water line, and temporary construction easements across six parcels. These acquisitions are required to comply with Harris-Galveston Subsidence District requirements and implement the City’s long-range water supply regionalization plan. Offers were based on an appraisal by Gary S. Brown, MAI, AI-GRS, and reviewed by a senior staff appraiser. Title policy and services costs of $3,050 were included.
