City Council approved an ordinance authorizing the abandonment and sale of a 4,903 SF alley and a 1,241 SF utility easement in the Park Place Subdivision, out of the John R. Harris Survey, to Papp Family Limited Partnership. In exchange, the Partnership paid $62,173 in cash and conveyed to the City a 362 SF sanitary sewer manhole easement and a 200 SF water meter easement, with total conveyance value matching the sale price of $66,779. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved the request, and Papp Family Limited Partnership plans to incorporate the abandoned alley and utility easements into its abutting property for future development.
