The Denver City Council approved a $25,000,000.00 contract with Milender White Construction Co. for three years of integrated construction services, including preconstruction, construction procurement, construction, and construction management. This contract supports the citywide Sidewalk Program, which was established by a citizen-led ballot initiative in November 2022 (Denver Deserves Sidewalks and Ordinance 307). The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is responsible for implementing the program, funded by fees assessed on property owners. Milender White Construction Co. is one of two contractors awarded this IC contract, with work to be issued via task orders and work orders. The City will evaluate long-term delivery options for the program after this initial three-year phase.
