The City Council approved a $50,000,000.00 contract with SEMA CONSTRUCTION, INC. for a three-year term to provide Integrated Construction services, including preconstruction, construction procurement, construction, and construction management. This contract supports the citywide Sidewalk Program, which was established by a citizen-led ballot initiative (Ordinance 307) in November 2022. The program aims to fund sidewalk construction, reconstruction, and repair through a fee assessed on property owners. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is awarding this contract as part of two multi-disciplinary teams to implement the Sidewalk Program for its initial three years.
