The City and County of Denver approved a contract with W.W. Clyde & Co. for $14,460,448.00 to provide construction services for the Taxiways F, G, and H and the Deice Pads Pavement Rehabilitation project at Denver International Airport (DEN). This project is a continuation of the DEN Pavement Management Program (PMP). The work involves improving the pavement condition of the taxiways and deice pads to sustain DEN's current investment, fulfill FAA grant assurance obligations, and maintain Part 139 certification. Additionally, the project includes replacing damaged LED fixtures, updating aging electrical infrastructure, removing redundant electrical cabling, adjusting utility manholes, repairing a failing underdrain, and replacing worn pavement markings. The project will be split into two construction seasons to accommodate deicing operations from October to May, and is expected to take 438 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The contract was approved by the Committee on June 25, 2025, and by the Mayor-Council on July 1, 2025.
