The City and County of Denver approved a loan agreement with CVCO 49th & Vine 9% Property Owner, LLP, for $560,000 to finance the construction of 50 income-restricted senior housing units. The project, known as Vina II: Vina Senior Residences, is located at 2150 East 49th Avenue in the Globeville-Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. The units, comprising 40 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom units, will be leased at affordable rents to qualifying seniors with incomes between 30% and 60% Area Median Income (AMI). The development includes a ground-floor senior center, a second-floor clubhouse with a courtyard, and approximately 7,000 square feet of local retail space. The loan term is 360 months, and the affordability restrictions will be secured by a Covenant running with the land for a minimum of 60 years.
