The Denver City Council approved a $43,133,300.00 contract with Millstone Weber, LLC for construction services at Denver International Airport (DIA). The project, known as the South Worldport Lot (Longs Peak Shuttle Lot Relocation), involves constructing a new 5,200-space surface parking lot. This development is crucial for enabling the construction of a Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) at DIA and relocating the existing Longs Peak Shuttle Lot. The scope of work includes earthwork, grading, stormwater drainage, concrete paving, construction of shuttle shelters, electrical and lighting infrastructure, EV charging infrastructure, water service improvements, a new signalized intersection, and roadway extensions/widenings. The contract duration is 430 calendar days. The project site is currently undeveloped farmland located south of the existing Worldport Facility between Jackson Gap St and the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot. The resolution was approved by the City Council on June 9, 2025.
