An amendatory agreement extending the contract term with SEMA Construction, Inc. for citywide wastewater infrastructure improvements was approved. The 910-day extension allows continued implementation of multiple Wastewater Infrastructure Improvement Projects and Programs under the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. The original Notice to Proceed was issued February 8, 2023, with an initial 730-day term ending February 7, 2025; this amendment adds 180 days to extend the contract through August 6, 2025. There is no change to the $2,000,000 contract amount. Work includes sanitary and storm sewer replacement, cured-in-place lining, open-channel work, environmental site investigations, structural rehabilitation of manholes and inlets, concrete flatwork, subgrade stabilization, utility relocations, and compliance with ADA and permit requirements. The contract is executed on an as-needed, multiple-event basis. The amendment adds a new compliance section for Denver wage laws. The Council approved the extension by resolution on November 19, 2024.
