Columbus City Council approved a 75% for 10-year Enterprise Zone tax abatement for Coulter Ventures, LLC and Coulter Properties II LLC, collectively known as Rogue Fitness. This incentive supports a total project investment of approximately $48,245,000.00, including $37,000,000.00 in real property improvements. The project involves expanding Rogue Fitness's existing corporate headquarters, manufacturing, and distribution facility by an additional 270,000 square feet. The facility is located at 511 E. 5th Avenue and contiguous parcels at 440-470 E. Starr Avenue and 500-540 E. Starr Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. The expansion aims to create 30 net new full-time permanent positions with an estimated annual payroll of approximately $1,698,240.00, while retaining 665 existing jobs. The tax abatement will result in an estimated tax savings of $7,208,850.00 for the companies over the ten-year period. The Columbus City School District is projected to receive an additional $1,683,260.00 over the abatement term.
