This ordinance rezones 5.20± acres located at 3755 Ridge Mill Drive from a Commercial Planned Development District (CPD) to an Apartment Office District (AR-O). The site, previously developed with commercial uses, will be transformed into a multi-unit residential development with up to 235 units. This development aligns with the Trabue-Roberts Area Plan and supports the City’s goal to create more housing in all areas. Despite initial traffic-related concerns, the West Scioto Area Commission approved the project with conditions related to the building’s height and exterior design.
This rezoning will convert underutilized commercial land into much-needed residential housing, contributing to the city's broader goal of increasing housing availability.
