An informational presentation was given on two complementary plans: the Major Taylor Trail Land Use Framework Plan and the Major Taylor Trail Consolidation Plan. The Land Use Framework Plan aims to catalyze equitable development around the trail from 104th Street to 125th Street, encompassing Beverly, Morgan Park, and West Pullman. The Consolidation Plan inventories planned capital improvements and recommendations from various organizations involved in the trail's operation, serving as a tool to track progress and guide inter-agency coordination. Draft versions of both plans are available for public comment for 30 days.
