Throop Studio, LLC, seeks to rezone the property at 1500 N. Throop Street from M2-3 (Light Industry District) to C3-3 (Commercial, Manufacturing and Employment District). The purpose of this rezoning is to allow the operation of a private event space, in addition to the existing photography studio, and to obtain a Public Place of Amusement license (PPA). The proposed private event space will operate seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., with an expected two to four events per month, primarily on weekends.
