On June 18, 2025, the Chicago City Council passed an ordinance reclassifying the zoning for 1504 North Hudson Avenue. The ordinance amends Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, by changing the current RM-5, Residential Multi-Unit District symbols and indications to those of a RM-5, Residential Multi-Unit District. The affected area is bounded by a line 75.0 feet north of and parallel to West Blackhawk Street; North Hudson Avenue; a line 50.0 feet north of and parallel to West Blackhawk Street; and the public alley west of and parallel to North Hudson Avenue. This appears to be a technical adjustment or clarification of the existing RM-5 zoning boundaries or symbols for the specified parcel.
