The Chicago City Council approved a zoning reclassification for the property located at 714-726 North Kedzie Avenue. The ordinance changes the zoning from RS-3, Single-Unit Residential District, to POS-1, Parks and Open Space District. The area is bounded by North Kedzie Avenue, the alley next north of and parallel to West Huron Street, the alley next west of and parallel to North Kedzie Avenue, and a line 276.10 feet south of and parallel to West Chicago Avenue. The decision was sponsored by Alderman Walter Burnett Jr. of the 27th Ward.
