The prohibition applies at all hours, every day, with signage to be posted at the location. By restricting general parking, the ordinance aims to reduce congestion and prevent obstruction of sight lines at the intersection of S. Honore St. and nearby cross streets. Signage installation and enforcement will be the responsibility of the Chicago Department of Transportation. The applicant, Alderman Stephanie D. Coleman’s office, coordinated with the local resident and business community to identify this site as problematic for both accessibility and traffic flow.
