This petition (2024-111) is a site plan amendment for The Presbyterian Home at Charlotte, Inc., concerning approximately 27.27 acres located along the west side of Sharon Road, south of Hazelton Drive, and east of Sunnybrook Drive. The amendment proposes to combine two existing buildings into one larger structure, increase the building height by 5 feet to a maximum of 83 feet, alter proposed building elevations, and expand the footprint of the Mixed-Use Development District (MUDD-O) zoned area. Staff also recommended approval, noting the consistency with the comprehensive plan. Adjustments were made to limit age-restricted residential dwelling units to 88 within specific areas (Area B and Area A adjacent to Hazelton Drive or Fairheath Road) to mitigate impacts on neighboring single-family areas.
