The Charlotte Planning, Design & Development Department submitted Rezoning Petition 2024-121, a text amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The Zoning Committee voted 7-0 on December 3, 2024, to recommend approval of the petition, concurring that it facilitates the goals of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and makes the UDO more user-friendly.
