The City Council of Atlanta approved an ordinance to amend the FY 2026 Water & Wastewater Renewal and Extension Fund (5052) budget and the FY 2026 Water and Wastewater Sub Lien Revenue Bond Fund (5086) budget. This amendment authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to transfer a total of $30,000,000.00 from reserves to fund the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Architectural, Engineering, Design & Construction Management Services (A&E) Project. The purpose of this budget amendment is to fund various projects and associated services for Capital Improvement Program Projects, which include architectural, engineering, design, and construction management services for current and future needs identified in master planning efforts, as well as urgent project needs related to infrastructure improvements, regulatory compliance, and operations and maintenance engineering support.
