The Atlanta City Council adopted an ordinance to waive specific zoning requirements for a proposed high-rise mixed-use development at 505 Pharr Road, NE. The waivers pertain to the transitional height plane and transitional yard and screening requirements of the SPI-9 zoning district (Buckhead Village Special Public Interest District). This decision also waives the variance requirement for a reduction in these same SPI-9 transitional height and yard regulations. The waivers are conditioned on Avrohom Wolf, or an entity controlled by him, developing the property with a new high-rise mixed-use project, and on the inclusion of public parking and access to Bagley Park within the development, subject to mutually acceptable terms with the City. The property is approximately 1.896 acres or 82,600 square feet and is adjacent to Bagley Park.
