The Atlanta City Council authorized the Mayor to execute the Third Amendment to IFB-C/DOT/202208-1230054, adding funding of up to $8,725,205.46 for the 2021 LMIG Street Resurfacing Project Group 2 (South) contract with Magnum Paving Company, Inc. This amendment provides for resurfacing of Custer Avenue S.E., Highland Avenue N.E., Boulder Park Drive S.W., and Fairburn Road, charging all contracted work to specified grant and capital funds. Funding is allocated across three accounts: $5,189,221.84 from the 2024 LMIG grant fund, $750,000.00 from the Public Infrastructure Maintenance and Improvement Fund, and $2,785,983.62 from the TSPLOST Capital Project Fund. The amendment will not become binding until approved as to form by the City Attorney, executed by the Mayor or designee, attested by the Municipal Clerk, and delivered to Magnum Paving Company. The ordinance also waives any conflicting procurement code provisions to the extent necessary to effectuate the amendment.
