The City Council amended the 2021 Comprehensive Development Plan to annex 2231 Glenwood Avenue SE from unincorporated DeKalb County and designate it as Low-Density Mixed-Use. Upon annexation, the Office of Zoning & Development recommended aligning the property’s land use with surrounding low intensity mixed-use corridors. The ordinance adopts the Low-Density Mixed-Use designation for the parcel as detailed in Exhibit A and waives conflicting ordinances. This change integrates the site into Atlanta’s planning framework, enabling future development of residential and complementary neighborhood services at modest scale. It sets the stage for infrastructure and zoning reviews under city standards.
