The Atlanta City Council adopted an amended ordinance to rezone approximately 1.84 acres at 1640 Flat Shoals Road SE from R-4 (Single Family Residential) to PD-H (Planned Development Housing). This rezoning allows for a new subdivision by Parkwood Living. The development must adhere to a site plan dated August 21, 2024, with minor amendments from August 29, 2024. Conditions include establishing an easement around a 'Tree Save Area' where owners are prohibited from introducing barriers. The development will be governed by private covenants for the ownership and maintenance of common areas. The site FAR shall not exceed 0.5 times the net lot area. The rezoning was approved unanimously by the City Council.
