The City Council authorized the Mayor to exercise the second two-year renewal option under Contract FC-9938 for on-call architectural and engineering design services at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, extending the term from June 26, 2025 through June 25, 2027. The renewal applies to four consultant teams (HKS/FC/S&W JV, Corgan/Goode Van Slyke Architecture JV, Aviation Infrastructure Solutions JV, and ATL Aviation Consulting JV) providing design services on a task order basis. Funding for task orders will be established and requested annually in the Department of Aviation’s operating and capital budgets. This renewal represents the final option under the original five-year agreement executed in 2018. The Mayor or designee and the Chief Procurement Officer are authorized to finalize all necessary documents. Services include architectural and engineering design for airfield, roadway, building, and related airport infrastructure projects. The contracts allow flexible issuance of task orders to meet ongoing and future development needs at the world’s busiest airport. No further renewal options remain beyond this two-year term. The Chief Procurement Officer confirmed that no organizational conflicts of interest exist and that continuation of services is in the city’s best interest.
