The City Council approved an amendment to the Land Use Element of the 2021 Atlanta Comprehensive Development Plan to redesignate the property at 757 Pearce Street SW from Single Family Residential (SFR) to Low Density Residential (LDR). This spot rezoning (Z-24-094) allows subdivision of the existing lot in Land Lot 106 of the 14th District of Fulton County and future construction of two single-family homes under the R-5 zoning district. The ordinance incorporates Exhibit A, which maps the exact tract boundaries, and repeals any conflicting ordinances. Following a public hearing on March 10, 2025, the Community Development/Human Services Committee and Atlanta City Council reviewed and ultimately favorably reported the measure. Final adoption occurred on April 21, 2025, after unanimous votes in committee and on the council floor.
