The City Council of Atlanta approved rezoning of five parcels located at 2125, 2131, 2135, 2139 and 2145 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW, comprising approximately 1.51 acres in Land Lot 176 of the 14th District, Fulton County, from R-4A/WPAHO to RG-3/WPAHO. This rezoning allows general sector residential development supporting up to three units per building under the Residential General Sector 3 district while retaining the Westside Park Affordable Workforce Housing Overlay. The applicant and property owner, Shaun Williams, proposes a development of 21 for-sale housing units on the site. The amendment aligns with the City’s Comprehensive Development Plan, enhances housing capacity near the future Westside Park, and is compatible with surrounding single-family neighborhoods. The RG-3 district permits a mix of residential types including single-family, duplex, and triplex dwellings, plus neighborhood-scale civic and accessory uses. The overlay ensures inclusion of workforce housing design standards and affordability measures. The rezoning was recommended for approval by both the NPU and Zoning Review Board, and certified by the Municipal Clerk.
