The New York City Council approved an application from the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation to lease a parcel of land at 349 East 140th Street in the Bronx. The property, which has been unused for over a decade, will be leased to The Mott Haven-Port Morris Community Land Stewards. The agreement is for a 49-year ground lease with two 25-year renewal options. The decision was adopted by the City Council on November 25, 2025, following review and approval by the Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings and Dispositions, and the Committee on Land Use.
