The New York City Council has approved an application from the Landmarks Preservation Commission to designate the Fashion Tower as a landmark. The property is located at 135 West 36th Street in Manhattan. The application, LU 0417-2025, was introduced on October 29, 2025. Following hearings, the Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings and Dispositions, and the Committee on Land Use both approved the measure. The full City Council passed the landmark designation on November 25, 2025.
