The New York City Council has approved the designation of the Furcraft Building, located at 242-246 West 30th Street in Manhattan, as a landmark. The application was submitted by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The approval process involved hearings and approvals from the Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings and Dispositions, the Committee on Land Use, and finally the full City Council. The final approval was granted on November 25, 2025.
