The New York City Council has approved an application with modifications to rezone the property at 1720 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. Submitted by Bermuda Realty No. 2 LLC, the application changes the zoning from an M1-1 District to R7A and C4-4D Districts, and establishes a C2-4 commercial overlay within the new R7A district. The decision was passed by the Committee on Land Use on November 25, 2025, and subsequently referred to the City Planning Commission. This rezoning paves the way for a new mixed-use development on the site.
