The New York City Council has approved a 49-year ground lease for a parcel of land at 349 East 140th Street in the Bronx. The property, owned by the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation and formerly part of the Lincoln hospital campus, has been unused for over ten years. The lease, which includes two 25-year renewal options, was awarded to The Mott Haven-Port Morris Community Land Stewards for future development.
