The Metropolitan Council approved a greenway conservation easement donated by the Riverwalk at Mill Creek Homes Association, Inc. The easement, located at 700 B Mill Creek Meadow Drive, covers approximately 3.51 acres and will be managed by the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation. This dedication will facilitate the future expansion of the Mill Creek Greenway. The donation was a condition of the Metro Council's prior approval of a PUD Amendment (2003P-007-002) for a new residential development. The Planning Commission and the Board of Parks and Recreation had previously approved the acceptance of the easement. There is no cost to the city to acquire this conservation easement.
