The Metropolitan Council passed a resolution approving the seventh amendment to a grant contract with Affordable Housing Resources, funded by the Metropolitan Housing Trust Fund Commission. The original grant of $410,000 was awarded in 2017 to support the construction of affordable housing. This latest amendment extends the contract term by an additional 12 months, for a total term of 108 months. It also increases the number of proposed affordable housing units at 141 Elmhurst Avenue from one to two. The grant amount remains unchanged.
