The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved with conditions an ordinance to amend the Specific Plan (SP) District for a 2.76-acre property in Nashville. The site, encompassing several addresses including 410 and 414 21st Avenue South and 2011-2015 Broadway, will be redeveloped to permit new hotel, retail, and office uses. This rezoning changes the existing RM20, CS, and SP zoning to a unified SP district for the mixed-use project. The application was submitted by Ragan Smith on behalf of Vanderbilt University, who is also the applicant/owner. Staff recommended approval with conditions for the proposed Broadway Specific Plan. The decision was made on October 20, 2025, after the Metropolitan Planning Commission meeting.
