The Metro Nashville Council approved a request to rezone 12.51 acres at 2901 Lebanon Pike from Residential Single-Family (RS10) and Commercial Mixed-Use (CM) to a Planned Unit Development (PUD). The PUD will allow for a mixed-use development, "The Lofts at Lebanon Pike," comprising up to 470 residential units, 10,000 square feet of commercial retail, 10,000 square feet of office space, and 12,000 square feet of restaurant space. Key conditions of approval include a maximum building height of 6 stories, the provision of at least 2.5 acres of public open space, and the implementation of traffic mitigation measures prior to Phase 2 occupancy permits. The development is planned in two phases over five years and was approved by a vote of 37-0, following a staff recommendation for approval with conditions.
