An application for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay District for a 1.25-acre property at 2132 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN, was approved by the Metro Council on November 19, 2024. This PUD allows for a mixed-use development consisting of up to 250 residential units and up to 10,000 square feet of non-residential uses, such as restaurant/retail. The site, currently zoned RM40 (Multi-Family Residential) and SP (Specific Plan), is developed with existing commercial buildings that will be replaced by a new high-rise mixed-use structure. The proposed PUD permits a maximum height of 15 stories. The Metro Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions on October 24, 2024, which included enhanced pedestrian realm improvements, maintenance of mature trees, and a contribution to the affordable housing trust fund.
