This bill amends the Metro Code regarding "Commercial Amusement, Major" facilities. It expands the definition to permit indoor facilities up to 150,000 square feet and outdoor facilities up to 10 acres. Notably, certain outdoor facilities will now be allowed in various residential (RM), mixed-use (MUN, MUG, MUL, RMX), commercial (CS, CL, CN, CP, CA), industrial (IWD, IR), and other specialized zoning districts. The changes aim to update zoning regulations to accommodate larger entertainment and amusement venues within the city. The Metropolitan Planning Commission recommended approval unanimously (8-0).
