The Planning Department, Renew Arlington Advisory Board, and the Planning Commission all recommended approval, finding the request consistent with the 2045 Comprehensive Plan and the site's Residential Professional Institutional (RPI) land use designation. The City Council passed the ordinance with a 17-0 vote.
