The City Council approved an ordinance to rezone approximately 1.29 acres of land at 207 Market Street from the Downtown-Activity Center (DAC) district to a Planned Unit Development (PUD). The PUD allows for a mixed-use development consisting of up to 250 multi-family dwelling units and approximately 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The development will feature a minimum of 250 parking spaces. The project is designed to integrate with the existing urban fabric of Downtown Jacksonville, providing both residential and commercial opportunities. The council vote was 18-0 in favor.
