The Jacksonville Planning Department approved a zoning exception for a proposed 135-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital at 703 W. 8th Street. The project, valued at $50 million, will be developed by HPC 8th Street, LLC on a 5.02-acre parcel. The 88,206 SF facility will operate as a major medical institution within an existing Planned Unit Development (PUD). The decision, made on 2025/11/08, permits the construction and operation of the hospital.
