The proposed rezoning seeks to amend the existing PUD zoning district on approximately 25.10 acres located at 12260 Mandarin Road. The current PUD designation allows for a single-family home. The new PUD proposes the development of 28 single-family residential lots, internal roadways, and stormwater management facilities. The development will include common open space and preserve existing mature trees where possible. This project aims to address the growing demand for housing in the Mandarin area while maintaining the residential character of the neighborhood. The planning commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval to the City Council.
