The Columbus City Council authorized a $2,200,000 grant agreement with TCG Elford Broad Apartments Holdings LLC for a new workforce housing project. The development, located at 260 Taylor Station Road, will feature 240 apartment units on a 16.51-acre site. The total project cost is $51,347,120. At least 20% of the units will be rent-restricted for households at or below area median income (AMI). The developer has the option to structure the affordability as either 10% of units at 60% AMI and 10% at 80% AMI, or 30% of units at 80% AMI. The site is conveniently located near major employment centers like Mt. Carmel East Hospital, commercial areas, and COTA bus routes. This ordinance was passed as an emergency measure to maintain the project's schedule and repeals a previous, unexecuted agreement (Ordinance No. 1721-2025).
